- Device Information: Technical data such as device type, operating system, and app version.
- Crash Reports & Diagnostics: Through Firebase Crashlytics and Analytics, we receive anonymized crash logs and performance data.
- Generated Stories: Stories you create are processed temporarily by our AI service to deliver results, but are not permanently stored or shared.
2. How We Use Information
- Provide personalized stories and reading features.
- Improve app performance and fix bugs.
- Display contextual (non-personalized) ads.
3. Third-Party Services
We use trusted third-party services that may collect or process limited technical information:
- Firebase (Google LLC): For analytics, crash reporting, and performance monitoring.
- Google AdMob / User Messaging Platform (UMP): For showing contextual ads. We do not use personalized ads or tracking identifiers. Ads are reviewed for age-appropriateness under Google’s Families Policy, including human review of ad creatives.
4. Children’s Privacy
Storylabs is designed for children but intended to be used under parental supervision.
- We do not collect personal information from children without parental consent.
- Profiles can use emojis instead of real photos.
- Data is used only to support learning and personalization.
